People that know me better, also know that I can be quite a princess sometimes haha. I sometimes wave like a princess and I also have a princess-name for myself (one of my weird characteristics haha). Therefore I’m also super into castles. Scotland was perfect for that kind of stuff – we saw numerous castles and fortresses. Some of them were still in use, some were totally ruined. By far the most beautiful castle was Dunrobin Castle on the east coast of the Northern Highlands. Parts of the Dunrobin castle even date back to the 13th century. A few weeks after I came back from my exchange semester in Sweden I went to Scotland with my family. I was in a intensive travel mode haha – I just wanted to see more and more. We went to London for a few days and then made a road trip from London to Scotland. The trip included all the major cities of Scotland, like the capital Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and the home of golf St. Andrews (also the city where William met Kate ; ) ), and other iconic spots, like Melrose Abbey, Loch Ness (which is really unspectacular) or wonderful castles (more about the awesome castles in another blog post soon). N59°37’2833” / E16°33’0303” – 5 months in Sweden, a recap

IMG_4189151 days (or 22 weeks or 5 months) went by. As I am writing this I am sitting at the airport – I had to take the bus at 3.20 a.m. already and I did not sleep a second in the night. On the way I was thinking about those past 151 days since I last was in Austria. How did this experience end so fast? What was the hardest part? What was the best part? What would I have changed? What have I learned? Would I do it again? What comes next? All those questions come to my mind. Some of them can be answered, some of them cannot.
