Dunrobin Castle – Seat of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland – Kessy

People that know me better, also know that I can be quite a princess sometimes haha. I sometimes wave like a princess and I also have a princess-name for myself (one of my weird characteristics haha). Therefore I’m also super into castles. Scotland was perfect for that kind of stuff – we saw numerous castles and fortresses. Some of them were still in use, some were totally ruined. By far the most beautiful castle was Dunrobin Castle on the east coast of the Northern Highlands. Parts of the Dunrobin castle even date back to the 13th century.

Not even the castle itself is stunning but also the gardens and the view. I felt like a real princess when we walked through the castle and the gardens. It was quite expensive to enter (10.5 British Pounds) but totally worth it! So if you visit the Northern Highlands I would definitely recommend to stop by the castle.

Enjoy the pictures and I hope you like it! : )
Love, Kessy
